With over 25 years of legal experience, Amy has developed innovative ways to handle conflict resolution.  She has dedicated her practice to family and juvenile law, representing clients in uncontested divorces, legal separation, premarital agreements, juvenile defense, complex equitable distribution, alimony and child custody matters.  While experienced as a zealous advocate in court, Amy is also certified as a Family Financial Mediator through the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission to serve as a facilitator.  Amy has also challenged the public school system to enforce and improve educational opportunities for her clients.  As a solo practitioner and small business owner for 24 years, she is well respected in the legal community.  Amy presently serves and has served on several Mecklenburg County Bar and Mecklenburg Bar Foundation committees including chair of the audit committee, as a member of the grievance committee and nominating committee, and as a board member of the Mecklenburg Bar Foundation. She has participated in speaking engagements for the National Business Institute, A.G. Edwards, and Stifel Nicolaus in continuing legal education. In December 2019, Amy became a partner with Milazzo Webb Law, PLLC, which was rebranded to Ascension Law. Effective February 2023, Amy has joined Plumides, Romano & Johnson as a partner in family law.
